Summary
This paper presents a multi-domain monitoring framework (eCOMBINE) for open-space offices designed to capture relationships between occupant behavior, comfort, indoor environment quality, and energy use. The framework and mobile application could inform lighting design decisions by providing real-time data on how occupants interact with environmental controls, including lighting, based on comfort and contextual factors.
